No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or tracking services and loads no external resources. Fonts, images, scripts and stylesheets are served exclusively from this domain. No profiling takes place and no data is passed to third parties.

Server log files

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the site is accessed, data is automatically recorded in server log files: page requested, date and time, data volume transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in technically faultless operation. We do not access these log files ourselves; the retention period is governed by the provider's policy.

Transfers to third countries (USA)

Cloudflare delivers the site via a global network; visitors from Europe are normally served from data centres within the EU. Processing of data — in particular the IP address — in the USA cannot be ruled out. The transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A residual risk of access by US authorities remains.

Enquiry form

If you use the enquiry form we process the details you enter solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Data is not passed to third parties, except where processing your order requires your delivery address to be passed to our supplier Dock Discounter CV, Rotterdam. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply. The enquiry is not stored on the web server; it is delivered to us by email only. To guard against automated bulk submissions the server keeps a non-reversible checksum of your IP address for at most one hour; the IP address itself is not stored. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Configurator

The pontoon configurator calculates entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is transmitted to our server unless you explicitly send an enquiry. If you add items to the enquiry list, your browser stores that list locally (local storage) so it survives moving between pages. Only part number and quantity are stored. The data leaves your browser only when you send the enquiry, and you can delete the list at any time via “Clear list”. No consent is required because the function is strictly necessary for the service you requested (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG).

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Contact contact@e-surfer.com to exercise them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for us the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
